With art deco gates and fountains, Park Plaza is comprised of a 203-unit, four-story building containing three stories of affordable senior housing situated over enclosed parking and a two-story clubhouse. Features include a billiards room, library, computer learning center, dance floor, entertainment / media center, beauty parlor, exercise room, and pool / spa. Park Plaza was designed around a newly themed "e;Senior Artists Colony"e; concept, recognizing the large number of entertainment industry retirees in the area, as well as the belief that seniors benefit from access to creative outlets. In addition, to the spacious, wood-paneled clubhouse, residents gather for plays, readings, recitals, etc. in a separate outdoor amphitheater.
